Kayleen seidl
Described as an actress with “natural charm,” Kayleen was acknowledged for her “transformative vocal performance” as Sarah Brown in the Guys and Dolls National Tour. In Fall of 2023, Kayleen made her Broadway debut in Harmony: A New Musical written by Barry Manilow and Bruce Sussman with direction by Warren Carlyle. She performed in the ensemble each night with a nice feature as Ingrid. Kayleen also understudied the role of Mary played by Olivier-nominated Sierra Boggess. The cast album can be heard on all major streaming services. Prior to Broadway, Kayleen performed her dream role Maria in The Sound of Music at the John W. Engeman Theatre in Northport, NY. The experience was pure joy, and she looks forward to future opportunities to perform this iconic role.
Pre-pandemic, Kayleen performed Off-Broadway in the original cast of Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish directed by Joel Grey. She executed the extreme feat of covering 3 principal roles in a foreign language as well as performing her own ensemble track each night. One exciting and memorable day during the run, she performed two of her cover tracks in one day which was of course an unplanned surprise. Exceeding expectations, the show enjoyed a nearly year-long run winning the Drama Desk Award for Best Musical Revival. The cast album can be heard on all major streaming services.
Because music has been such a gift in her life, Kayleen decided to share that gift with others through teaching. Kayleen founded Moving Vocals Performance Studio which offers one-on-one coaching in voice, singing for dancers, audition prep, and business strategy as well as group workshops and masterclasses.
