Black Box Movers is a program of The Black Box Collective Inc., a New York nonprofit corporation. Our mission is to empower the future of Broadway by providing accessible opportunities for choreographers and performers in our community; by creating pathways for artists to develop their craft, share their work, and engage with the professional performing arts industry.
The theatre dance community is one of the hardest working and under-appreciated groups of people you can find. Those who pursue this career are dedicated to creating a world that brings everyone together and provides a platform for genuine storytelling. So, we work to support those voices. We want to continue to grow our programming and opportunities t provide accessible educational and career development opportunities to the next generation of artists that will greatly influence our world.
